Sensory Warning: Color Overload!

What I love most about Mexico in the winter is the gorgeous flowers!  They are everywhere, and this is winter for them too, mind you.  It is amazing!

My sister Jodi and I went for a morning walk with my dad.  He gets up and heads out the door at 7:00am every morning to go walking.  We weren't too fond of the idea of waking up so early on our vacation but Dad assured us we would enjoy it.  The village is nothing but cobblestone streets.  So neat!  It was a beautiful morning!

One of God's cool creations-- a fan palm!

I could get used to seeing this every single morning.  How about you?

A little closer look...

And an even closer look...

I could not believe it when I saw these next bushes.  Incredible color intertwined.  It was just gorgeous!!

This next run of pictures is close-ups of those bushes.  I was just in awe at the color everywhere!  I was praising God for such beauty!!

Whew!  So much color!  I thought this was a fun picture.  This is a swinging bridge that Dad is coming off of.  It connects Rincon de Guayabitos (the village we were in) to LaPenita.

As soon as you come off the bridge, this is what you see...

The rest of our morning walk was through housing.  Oh, I got lots of pictures of some beautiful homes.  I think I will save them for the next post.

I am grateful for such beauty in small things that God allows us to be touched with.
